    DefaultThe boys day out

I gave Sam a treat and go for a 2 hour outing and swim with the Doggy Day Out people.
I mentioned Erns, he is a bit naughty, but loves swimming. They said they allowed for one demanding dog. They had 2 Labs and 2 Retreivers and he is welcome to go.

I gave them a sausage and told them to pretend to give it to another dog when they wanted him out of the water.

It was so cute seeing them sitting in crates in the van with their little heads looking out the window as they drove off. Erns was odd man out being the only black and wearing an orange life vest.

When they dropped them back they looked stressed. Yes I bet like me you are wondering what the black boy did.

It was the White one.!!! ;D

He wouldn't get out of the van. They had to pull and push. He lay under a tree the whole time so they left him until last when it was time to go. Unfortunately he wasn't ready to go and refused.
More pulling and his collar broke. He was off.

Meanwhile Erns barking "Go Sam" had started the other dogs barking and jumping around the crates. Eventually they got Sam and he wouldn't settle. Drove them nuts.

They stopped, put him with Erns and order was restored. Still spark in the usually laid back old boy.

I agree with Linda, I think Sam is learning some of Ernie's tricks!

Oh I'm laughing! I didn't see this before I did my "naughty dog" post!
I think sometimes we just have to allow them their dogness.

Guess both our good boys had enough of being good and wanted to see what the other side was like. ;D
