DefaultHow do you clean your dogs bowls?

I used to use soap and water but never felt I got the bowls clean. For many years I have been using soft scrub. It works great. I ran out last week...boy did I miss it.

I have always wondered what people use to get rid of that tuff dog slobber film inside the bowls. Do you have a secret for super clean bowls?

I voted for dishwasher, but not everyday. For everyday, I wash it with dishsoap.
Once a week, I put it in the dishwasher.

Soaking bowls in a solution of vinegar and water helps. Depending on how bad they are you might have to go straight vineger and a little elbow grease. I usually do a 50/50 about once or twice a month. Also mine go in the dishwasher a couple times a week.

Stainless steel dishes here and I use soap and water. I've found it's easiest to pick up the food bowl right after the meal & wash it before anything can really stick. :P I do run her bowls through the dishwasher once or twice a week, too.

Soap and water with a little scrubbie sponge. Once a week in the dishwasher.

Dish soap after meals then put them in the dishwasher a couple of times a week.
Sam has dry food which he tips onto the floor. Erns has fresh usually and licks his clean most times. If not it is washed then dishwasher..

We have stainless steel and big plastic water bowls.
