When walking, each time we come to a place where we have to cross the street, I stop, put Tal in a sit, and wait for any traffic to pass before crossing the street. I noticed tonight that now I don't even have to give a slight tug on his leash when we stop. I don't even have to say "Tal, sit". I stop, and he just sits. And waits until I say "Ok".
I tried a little experiment. We were walking down a sidewalk and no need to stop. But I did anyway. And lo and behold, Tal stop and sat and waited for me to say ok. I am so proud of him I could bust!
Way to go, Tal.
All of your training has paid off.
Great Job, Tai! You have figured out how to make mom happy. That is very important. Make sure you get enough treats for being so good.
Hershey Kisses, In charge of getting Ed out to the dog park so that he gets some exercise.
