Miss Bo! ;D
With all the loss this year I figured the only way to feel better at all was to get right back in there and bring home a new senior. Bo came from a great home in Colorado that has been trying to find her a family for over a year. Bo went there to spend a few weeks, and her owners never came back for her. Bubba and I met her last year and we both thought she was a special girl, but we did not have any room left here for another senior. As things worked out this year, now we do and she has come to her forever home with us this past weekend.
Me and the Bubster drove out to Columbia MO. on Saturday to meet her dad from Colorado and pick her up.
Joe brought Bo to me, and in return he took Finn, the little almost blind boy back to CO for his family.

And saying goodbye to Bo
Bo and Bubba are getting along great. It is like she has always been here. She is even doing well with Hunter and Shayla, our two grouchy dogs. It is very weird that she has come in and not had any issues with any of the dogs. Barb says she is like the best of both Maddie and Diesel rolled into one sweet old girl. I think they are both watching over Bo and guiding her because they know how much we miss them both.
We spent the night in the motel just as it should be, one happy guy squashed between two wonderful yellow dogs. It was the best sleep I had had in several weeks Thank you Kirsten and Joe for giving me this wonderfull gift.

Welcome beautiful Bo!
She's beautiful and sounds like such a sweet-heart.
I'm so glad you are able to give her a wonderful home.
Joe, I think you and Barb are right - Maddie and Diesel are there with you all, helping you to heal and Bo to be comfortable with her new family.
