Just wondering how long it takes before most stuffed toys get punctured. In our home, the first puncture where stuffing comes out happens in the first hour, I will sew them a couple of times (if they were not cheap) before laying them to their final resting place in the garbage.
If there is a squeaker, it's dead w/in the first 2 mins. If no squeaker, they take their time to find the "right spot" to move in for the kill, so closer to 4 or 5 mins.
ginger doesn't destroy so she has some of the same toys since she was a puppy. but phoebe will destroy her toys along with gingers.
Usually, as quick as he can. I just bought some Bamboo brand toys that are "comabat tested". They're made a lot better and so far he hasn't tried to tear one up. It's not fuzzy so that might be why. I'm pretty suprised.
When Snicks gets a stuffie in our house, there is an instant explosion of fluff!

"I got the ball Mom....!!!"
Surprisingly the only toys hes destroyed so far was one of those loofa dogs. Ripped the ears off within seconds! The other was this ball in a frog outfit but the ball was too heavy so one shake and the legs came off! The rest I just sew.

Zoe was the destuffing queen during her puppyhood. None of her toys survived. I saved several "shells"
She rarely tries to destuff any longer; however, if there is a small hole in the toy, I let her go to town. I call it her project.

Shelby has never de-stuffed a toy. She LOVES stuffed animals -- and probably has 20 : Shelby's favorite thing to do is suck on the heads of her stuffed animals. Her pink pig, which she's had since we brought her home, is permanently misshapen due to her sucking on it. :P
Willow had one stuffed toy a plush soccor ball with a squeekie she got as a puppy and for some reason she never destroyed it not even the squeeker..and she would carry it around every where...but it got lost when we moved..
anything else it is "Kill the toy" time ! :P
Abby loves her stuffed toys. She's only taken apart a few of them, and they seem to be the cheaper ones with the really spongy squishy cotton candy floss type stuffing. Everything she else she leaves alone.
