It mysteriously disappeared. The person didn't say much about their situation, just that they were fed up. No more info was provided, and then the post was gone. :-\

Very odd. But I guess if it was a regular member they may be worried about someone identifying their writing style or whatever. :P

It was a regular member, hiding from embarrassment. Makes me really sad that someone here wants to dump their dog. :'(

I have thought on a few occasions to go "undercover" here to hide from shame or embarrassment. Yet I just figured hell, we all have been there, and if you can't talk to your friends who have probably been there, who can you talk to. I am glad he/she at least came here to try to get some help before making any rash decisions. To whom ever you are, I hope you get the help you need for your furry friend. It is tough at times I know, I have been there. Hang in there, and I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.

Me too.... :'( I've found that being a part of this forum has enriched my relationship with my dogs so much, it's sad that not everyone can get that benefit.. :-\

I'll admit it too. We got Frankie on a Saturday and by that Monday I was wondering what the hell we did. That lasted about 2 minutes though until it snapped into my brain that I have to TRAIN him. I started that day at 9 weeks and today he's one of the best dogs we've had.

I thought everyone had a few of those "Good lord what the hell have we done" moments in the first little bit. I know I did, I was expecting them.

Over time those thoughts went away though. (pretty much... )

I don't think there has been a time where anyone hasn't toyed with the idea of getting rid of their dog. We survive and move forward.

Heck - I tell Snicks we're getting rid of her every day. Then she smiles at me, wags her tail and I let her stay another day! ;D
