DefaultAn Autumn stroll with my old boys...... (lots of pics)

The weather is very typically Autumnal today and the leaves are swirling down from the trees at a constant rate. There is a slight breeze in the air and the Autumn sunshine is breaking through the clouds and casting shadows down on the ground.....the perfect day for a dog stroll-

Now that the boys are getting older, we don't tend to go too far afield, especially as Jonah's diabetes tends to show itself if we go too far, but today they both seemed up for it and raring to go, so i lifted them up into the Landrover....no mean feat on your own - Mark is at work- and we headed the 5 miles up the road to the very beautiful Cannock Chase Forrest.

We probably only covered about a mile but it was enough to satisfy the oldies and they came back tired happy and contented.

Lying on the front garden whilst i sort the Landrover out.

Jakey basking in the Autumn sunshine.

Jonah waiting patiently to go " stop photographing me mom and let's go..."

Jasper is not amused at the photo hold up and gives me the dead eye!

At last we are in the Landrover...the tention mounts...

    Here at last...

    Which pathway shall we take?

    Sure are tall trees.

    Jonah in the bracken.

    SSShhhh Jasper heard something...

    Starting to tire...

It doesn't take a lot at this age.

Jonah and Jasper weren't the only "Fun- guys" we saw!

    Tired boys headed home.

We had a nice leisurely afternoon stroll at an aged Labrador pace...i go to visit my 4 week old pup this Thursday and i have to say that as much as i enjoy taking it easy with my seniors, i am quite looking forward to some longer, slightly more energetic walks again when Jed is old enough.-

They're beautiful, how old are the boys? The kitty is gorgeous, too!

Wonderful pictures! Paddy would have enjoyed that outing with your boys. You know how to set just the perfect pace for them.
