Yesterday was Nick & Nora's 2nd Annual Pooch Party. The guests consisted of the veterinary staff where I adopted them both, plus neighbors and friends. Sort of a "Thank you" for taking good care of my fur-kids. Please excuse this bunch of pictures as they were done with a cell phone. All the dogs did very well, no problems and lots of fun, food and toys.
Please note the very first picture! This is Lenny, a 10 year old Golden Retreiver who is both blind and almost totally deaf! His owner passed away and he was adopted by one of the Vet Techs. He is a grand gentleman and enjoyed himself with all of the new dogs and people......one very smart, friendly and trusting boy. He doesn't let his ailments slow him down.
A good time was had by all.
Lenny, a lesson to us all that older dogs are grand companions.
Nick and one of his new friends.
"Steak? Is that Steak? Make mine rare, please"! says Nora.
Looks like fun was had by all.
oh, what fun! I love the senior golden.
the pink spray mohawk on the little mix is too cute.
my idea of a perfect way to spend the afternoon.
What a nice get-together. Bless that vet tech for taking care of Lenny.
Looks like fun. Makes me wish someone in the neighborhood had a fenced yard.
Hey, that guy checking out the small dog with the pink Mohawk, is that a silver lab?
Hershey Kisses, In charge of getting Ed out to the dog park so that he gets some exercise.
I don't think so.......she doesn't herd turkeys.Originally Posted by Endofile
