DefaultSEE ROCK CITY! (warning, lots of pics!)

Hey JL peeps, Angus and Simon here!

We had a rockin' time this weekend! We had to go to some dog show, but on Saturday after it was over we got one of the best walks of our lives! Mom and Dad took us to Rock City in Chattanooga, TN. They checked on the Web and found that it's very dog-friendly, so they thought this would be a good way to get our bunnies out (whatever that means).

Here's a little miniature barn sized just right for us!

One of the first things we had to do was pose with a pumpkin. Whenever there is a pumpkin or hay bales, we have to pose with them. We don't know why.

There are all kinds of trails through the forest, and it's immediately apparent why they call it Rock City. There are stones and rocks everywhere! Too big to put in our mouths, though. But lots of good smells.

There are some cool caves too. This one had a little waterfall!

One of the best parts was Fat Man Squeeze! It's two HUGE rock formations that are just narrow enough to fit one person (or dog).

It's not a very long walk through the park, but it's kinda hilly in places so we stopped to rest a few times on the trail.

Mom had said she wasn't going on anything high, but after she got there she braved up a little bit. This is a stone platform that juts out over a cliff with nothing beneath it but air. Lots of people at the park were really happy to see us. Everyone wanted to say hello!

From this vantage point you can supposedly see seven states. Again, Mom said she wasn't going to the edge, but she went! She just didn't look over.

Here is the "See Seven States" observation deck from below. Vertigo anyone?

Here's a cool stone bridge that goes over a ravine. On the other side was a swinging bridge. Mom went on that too, but she drew the line with dogs on the swinging bridge, so we had to stay on the stone bridge while she and Dad took turns.

It was such a beautiful day! So many pretty things to look at!

Angus liked watching the people on the swinging bridge.

And what trip to a tourist attraction would be complete without a visit to the gift shop? Especially when the only way to get out is through the gift shop. We impressed everyone with our sit stays, and got lots of compliments on how mannerly we were.

So, we saw it! We saw Rock City! Angus, what did you think?

    Yes, I concur.

We went back to the room and assumed the position.

What a great day! We highly recommend Rock City for some good, dog-friendly fun!

Glad to see the boys had such a great time and that Mom even braved up! Love the seal of approval the boys gave at the end. *snicker*

Great pictures. I'm not sure I would have gone on that platform jutting out.

Loved the seal of approval photo. Classic!

Looking back, I can't believe I went on that platform either. I must have really been caught up in the moment!

Angus looks like he's enjoyed the attention of the girl next to him out on the platform.

Looks like they had a great time at Rock City. I am glad they added to the smells for the next pupsters to niff.

Looks like a wonderful place to walk. Great pics.

BTW I'm shocked. On the 10th pic a person is reaching for Angus head! And he seams to enjoy it?!
