    DefaultWow! Fast improvement!

Raleigh has made a HUGE improvement in the last 18 hours. Dinner yesterday was slow going, painful throat, still drooling mucus, still quite a sad sight. However, I was able to get the first dose of Baytril (antibiotic) into him.

Fastforward to this morning ... no hacking during the night ... he lept up with the alarm clock ... did the breakfast dance in front of his dish ... ate like normal ... no drool, no mucus. It's like he's back to normal. Me thinks we may have had something bacterial, considering the quick turnaround.

Kudos to the Baytril, I guess ... maybe he would have improved anyway ... either way, I am so relieved ... so happy.

Good news! I hope it doesn't spread on to Ivy.

KC is slowly working it's way through our house right now. Each time, the dogs have only really displayed symptoms for a couple of days. We did put the baby on antibiotics because, well, because she is a baby and we feared secondary pneumonia.

    It really sucks, doesn't it.

Aww ... I didn't know you were having this issue right now, too. It DOES stink! So far, so good with Ivy ... no signs of a problem.

Thanks to everyone for the well wishes!
