Mar and I were at an Agility Intro workshop today and he was awesome!!! He has been so tired ever since! The trainer told me, "He'll be a great Agility dog, I'll tell you that right now!" I think he liked it all except for the A-frame, which he COMPLETELY refused to try.. even with coaxing and treats... oh well next time! SU thinks that he is afraid of heights.

So we are starting a 5 week class this week with the same trainers. Can't wait.

Little pup is doing good. He is so different from Marlan. He sleeps A LOT and doesn't get into much trouble (knock on wood). Marlan never slept/sleeps and trouble was his middle name!!!!

ask your trainer if they are familiar with shaping... after bribing one dog over equipment I will NEVER do it again ...
my first agility dog never needed a bribe - he was eager to try everything
but the chihuahua was a little more nervous and my trainer at the time was a bit old fashioned so she bribed her LOTS - now Thea thinks about every piece of equipment and if nervous won't do it ... a little bit of shaping has her happily redoing the dog walk but it is taking AGES to reteach the teeter ...

    sounds great tho!
