... we got two legs!!!
AND, two 2nd place ribbons!!!!!! WOOHOO!!!
The judge was soooo nice, he recognized us from PreNovice yesterday where he had told me that Henery gives such great attention, and that I really should think of doing Novice with him! Then we showed up in his ring today!!
The Novice A classes are really small in number (5, 6, 7 dogs) so all the judges were very encouraging of us newbies!
We scored a 188 this morning and came in 2nd after Ruby Roo and scored a 187 this afternoon with a 2nd again after Roo!!! WOOHOO!!!
We even had a run-off for 2nd and 3rd place, between me&Henery and a nice lady with a Golden. Henry was exhausted by this point, we had been there since 8 this morning, but still pulled it together enough to win the run-off!!
When we came back into the ring for the run-off, the judge said to me, "Well, young lady, you certainly are a force to be reckoned with!! What a way to make your Novice ring debut!!" ;D He also said that he expects to see us all the way to Utility! Eeeeep!!
It was sooo encouraging and so nice!
We're back again tomorrow!
Kate (Baloo317) came to watch today, and I think she's bitten. (Nice seeing you again, Kate!!)
Congratulations! To you and the dogs.

It was all in the Fisher-Price slide training. I'm sure of it.
