DefaultOrdered two more crates. The saga continues!!

This is beginning to be the story of my life. Getting crates to fit well in the Expedition. I ordered the Midwest Side by Side crates this time. We measured & measured & decided to go with the 42' long ones. I fogot the site that people here told me about, so I looked around & decided on an on-line store called "Kennel Vet." I hope it is okay. The price for them were pretty comparable. The shipping prices varied, so we will see.

This should finally be it now! :

Georgie, you must have enough crates to open a second hand crate store. Pictures of your girls are great.

Craigslist is a good place to find crates, also.

Georgie, the 36" long ones would have been fine for your girls I hope the 42" fit.

Linda, We fold the third row seats down & we measured. The 42" should be fine. It also is 30" high & there was room to spare when we measured. Dave wanted to get the bigger ones. I think the 36" would have been fine but you know men, bigger is always better. :

Believe me, they will be going back if they don't fit. I can not afford to buy the smaller size AND keep these ones.

We really liked the Kennel-Aire wire crates but they just were too tight, but just about 1 inch. So they go in the truck for training in the summer.
