Jake got up before us, and decided to help himself to a package of kaiser rolls that Jerry forgot to put away last night. Jake ate all 11 that were in the bag. Now he is upset that I didn't give him breakfast! The plastic bag was in a thousand pieces, so I hope he didn't eat any of it.
They are all the same these greedy labs, my diabetic boy Jonah and his brother Jasper got into their food sack on Wednesday and stole a huge portion making himself poorly.
Then just last night my MIL's 13 mth old Josh ate the washing up cloth and ended up having a muscle relaxant at the vet to make him poop it out- imagine a magician pulling brightly coloured hankerchieves from his sleeve.....only it was slightly less colourful!!!-lol

Jake just couldn't wait for breakfast. I guess he decided to make his own.
Such opportunistic creatures, these lovable labbies are!
The visual cracks me up. Yup they are lovable arent they!
Did he give that "I didn't do it" look?
When you have more than one, how do you know which one did it? Is it the look in Jake's eye? Or the plastic hanging out of his mouth? ;D
If he really did eat 11 watch his belly- my dads beagle ate 6 hamburger buns and her stomach got so swollen they had to take her to the vet, she ended up on IV's- Oh man Jake what were you thinking dude!
Jake !!! Poor baby- no breakfast. When Judy ate a half loaf of Asiago bread, I didn't offer her dinner two hours later. I got this look from her that made me feel guilty so I gave her a few pieces of kibble. How can she make me feel guilty with one look? She's the one who ate the bread.
Linda, he is such a bad bad boy. I've told you that all along and now that you have realized it will you please please let me have him! I just love Jake!
Oh my. He just wanted his second breakfast. Maybe labs view the things they scavenge like I do broken cookies. If they're broken then the calories don't count.Originally Posted by Linda1
