I dunno if it's his age or what, but the funniest things scare him.
Yesterday Magnum found an old tennis ball and I threw it in the pool for her to get. Remington was in the pool getting his own bumper, he saw the ball out of the corner of his eye, swam toward it, spit out his bumper and then fled the scene glancing over his shoulder in sheer panic at the "monster tennis ball" in the pool with him.
Tonight, his grandma turned on the fireplace and he jumped up, growled at it, while running away.
Awwwww.....Linda, that made me smile. How old is he again? I think they do go through another fear period....particularly the males. Guthrie had one of those moments tonight. There was a noise outside in the distance. Broom, broom, broom. I could see that his body wanted to be brave and investigate but his little mind was scared to death! He came running over to me and attempted to hide his 70+ lbs body behind my legs. I couldn't help but laugh.
Even though Remmy is big, there is no doubt he is still just your little baby puppy.
