I ordered some things for Tal from dog.com ther other day and I decided to check out the toys...like he needs any more :
Anyway, there was this plush pumpkin toy that says "Trick or Treat" when squeezed.
I have heard "Trick or Treat" for two nights now! But I can't help but laugh..certainly not mad. Once when I heard it for a fleeting moment I thought Halloween isn't for two weeks yet! lol
have no fear - it should die before Halloween
I loved the hedgehog i got Rocky. I got more of a quick of the sound it made than he did

Yeah I know what you mean. I just bought a toy that when dropped it makes a breaking glass sound or it plays the chicken dance song or it says 'Whatever' in a real valley girl voice. It's enough to drive you to drinking....almost. The only hope is that the batteries wear out soon. Since the girls are only allowed to play with it when we are playing with them (because of the batteries) I fear it will be sometime before they do wear out. :
I've found that a quick cycle in the washing machine works wonders for those talking toys!! That is were Guthrie's squirrel toy is going right now. If I hear "Got Nuts?" one more time I am going to go nuts so I totally understand!!
Even the "teaser ball" can cause this, one more drop and run of the ball on the hard wood floor :! It's loud and its obnoxious, but guess it keeps them busy!
Don't you just it though ?? Hey, they ARE our kids......

Every time I hear Jazzy's squeaky, I turn up the tv, (it is loud and she goes on and on with it) and then I smile and think to myself, how happy she is! Sounds like Tal is a happy camper too!
;D I've been there! At first you think how much fun they would have it...then before you know it, you find yourself trying to hide it from them!

Oakley has a squeaky ball that is up in the cupboard because I can't stand it.
She has plenty of other toys so I don't feel guilty.
Well at least Tal will play with it & not destroy it. My girls would have the pumpkin "squashed" in minutes. Their noise maker is the Buster Cubes I fill with Cheerios. The sound of them banging them furniture is loud.
