If it weren't for these two (and the cats), I would be really bummed about leaving Houston so soon. I've been having such a good time being home, seeing friends, shopping, going out to restaurants and pubs, etc. etc. And of course, I've loved making friends with Boomer, and I'll be sad to say goodbye to him tomorrow.
But just when I started getting really down about it, I looked at these pictures. And now I want to go back!
My baby girl Chamois at the front entrance:
My handsome boy Toby in the front yard:
And in the driveway:
And just for fun, this is me and Stella (Mark's boss's dog that we flew back to Houston with us). Obviously, we enjoyed being up in business class! She was funny, very sweet and well-behaved. Nearly changed my mind about small dogs, too... but for some reason I felt compelled to tell everyone who asked about her, "she's not ours". Maybe it was the pink rhinestone collar.
We go back (sans dogs this trip!) on Saturday. It's been a good visit, and I'm looking forward to coming back home for a visit in the spring. But I miss my fur-kids and can't wait to see them again.
Toby and Chamois say: GO STEELERS!
They are both GORGEOUS!
I love your front entrance. Looks like an entrance to a palace or something.
Who did you leave the dogs with while you were back home?
I bet you miss them very much...not to mention that gorgeous house you get to stay in!!
Have a good trip and I hope Boomer finds his forever home soon.
Well the pups look very happy but of course you miss them have a good trip back and I'm sure your rescue pup will find a forever home real soon as he is so very cute
