Any one tried this food? I was wondering if it was worth it or just another marketing ploy.
Right now I feed Willow Iams she does well on it however I think her coat could be a little better.
Just looking for suggestions
If you feed Iams, I bet the Euk. Lab formula is probably better.
However, I actually don't like either due to their high amounts of corn in both.
I think that breed specific formulas are a marketing ploy but that is just my opinion. If it works, great. You can feed a lot worse!
I think just the switch to Eukanuba would help.

We've been feeding our boys the Eukanuba lab formula for a few months now...honestly, I can't tell a difference between it and the regular Eukanuba large breed formula, except for the extra $5 a bag they charge for it. :-\
Exactly. If your dog is not a puppy there is no reason why you need to even feed a LB formula. If you want the added glucosamine, its better and cheaper to buy it yourself and toss it in the dog's food dish.Originally Posted by RukusandDozer

I’m just looking for the best for Willow. I know the topic of food is usually a heated question.
My previous dog lived 13 years on the cheap “Kibbles and Bits”… but I am trying to good by Willow and feed her something other than “grocery store brands” but I want a good quality food without being ridicules in price…
There are so many foods on the market and I am a little uneducated on the ingredients on what is good…bad and considered “fillers”

Lots of awesome information and a good place to get help from members who have extensive knowledge in this area. . . I am thankful that I found it way back when I joined.
I fed a bag of it, then went back to Euk Large Breed Lamb and Rice, since mine did just as well or better on the lamb/rice, and it is cheaper. We give ours supplements anyway, so the added glucosimine was no biggie.
