I took my daughter and Essy to agility practice last night. We got home around 9 and Meghan went upstairs to bed. About 11, I finally went up to bed but had to put Essy in Meghan's room for the night and tuck Meghan in again.
Suddenly, as I'm leaning over her, Meghan sits bolt upright in bed, still asleep, and in a panicked voice says "Is she in heel position?" I said "What?" She repeated louder and more panicked "Is Essy in heel position?" I cracked up. My daughter was dreaming about doing obedience with Essy. I said "Yes. You guys look awesome!" and made her lay back down.
Is it weird that I thought it was weird she was dreaming about obedience and not agility since that's where we just came from?
Wow! Hope it was a good dream once you told her that everything was going alright.

That is so funny. Maybe heeling is something she is concerned about and what surfaces in her sleep? Did she remember the dream at all?

Nope...not a single thing. She's like her dad. He talks in his sleep too. I can carry on complete conversations with him and he doesn't remember a thing. I get some really good info that way too.Originally Posted by dakkerdog

aww, i'm sure Meghan and Essy will conquer heeling together very soon.
your daughter seemed dedicated to the task.

Poor Meghan, stressing about her heeling even in her sleep!! LOL!!
