    DefaultThe great chocolate hunter

This a.m. I let the kids out before I left for work & when I called them in, Teko just sat in the yard & looked at me. After some coaxing, he finally got up & I noticed he was holding his mouth funny & it looked like chunks of grass were sticking out of his mouth. I asked him to leave it & he dropped a dead animal on my kitchen floor. I, of course, screamed & at first I thought it was a rat. When I finally let go of the ceiling fan, I saw that it was a medium sized squirrel. It was flat but didn't have any teeth marks in it. He was sooo proud! When I screamed he looked at me like I was crazy! I scooped it up & put it in the garage & Teko looked like I just took his prized possession! He had been holding it so gently but all of its legs & tail were sticking out of his mouth!! :-X Anyway, I told him good boy & refused any kisses! :

LOL. "But mom, it's the greatest thing EVER."

    RIP, little squirrel.

At least he didn't eat it. But I probably would have had to change my pants.

Speaking of tails I walked up to Harlee a few days ago to see bird feathers sticking out of her mouth. We are still working on leave it so let me tell you I was wanting to die fishing the dead robin out of her mouth

Teko, you are such a good dog! Getting rid of that bad squirrel before it ate your nuts ;D Also, good job for showing your mom the goods. Next time try to find a bat. Hide it in your mouth and drop it on your mommy's feet when she lets you in. She will be very happy ;D
