    DefaultNow that hunting season is closed

    for a little over a month, so it's back to the bumpers for Cappy and me. To tell the truth, I actually like training more because there is soooo much more action!

    Here I go on a long swimming retrieve ...

    Got it and making the turn ...

    My front feet just hit bottom ...

    Almost to the shore but don'tcha just hate it when the bumper rope wraps around your muzzle?

    Oppps, dropped it!

    Not to worry, here I come, Dad ...

    Was fun Cap? You look at Mommie, I'll keep watching for ducks ...


    Remi and Rusty aren't my whole life. They're trying to fill the hole in my heart left by Cappy's passing.

    Sure looks like he is having a lot of fun. I don't hunt, but I have seen that same look on HK whenever some ducks fly over. She looks at the geese also, but the face is not the same. Something inbred about ducks I guess.

    Duck season is just starting around here so the DH took Bailey out for the first hunt together yesterday. No ducks to retrieve but good practice sitting!
