Bruno always has to have something in his mouth, and outside there are many acorns, buckeyes, and twigs on the ground for him to chew. I'm always worried what he's eating so whenever he's chewing, I do a finger sweep of his mouth down to the tonsils and around each cheek. Never find anything, then as soon as the finger comes out of his mouth the chewing resumes. What is it and where is he hiding it, or is he just pretending to chew something to drive me nuts!
Don't they love to make us crazy?
Jonah is the same way, picking up everything off the ground. Luckily he is very good about letting me open his mouth and take out whatever he may have in it. I've almost found it easier to let him go ahead and keep something "safer" (maybe a large leaf or small coconut) in his mouth as soon as he picks it up; it keeps him off the mulch, rocks, berries, etc!
Bruno is being a stinker hiding what he's chewing from you!
They are incredibly resourceful, are they not?
Is Bruno losing any teeth? I know with Pitch, he never swallowed his teeth, he always chewed on them. The other day I could hear Pitch chewing on something, did the finger swipe, and I found this tiny computer screw....god only knows where he found this.
Oh man, he is SLICK!

the last time it was a lil mouse and the tail was sticking out, :-\
Puppies, Tiller still does that now at 5 yrs old.
Her expression gives it away that she has something in her mouth though LOL
Try under his tongue. Nellie will hide really good stuff under her tongue. LOL
