11:07am, She is gone.
At 9:30 last night, Maddie started to hemorrhage from the tumor on her leg. I was able to stop the bleeding, but I know that we have reached the end of the battle. She is still smart as a whip and has all her mental faculties, but her body has just given out. We will be going to see Dr. B when we can get in today and I am pretty sure we will only have one option.
I have not heard this song in 15 years, but for some reason it has been stuck in my head for days. I think maybe it is all the others telling me it is time to let go.
Run Maddie, run with all you have and catch the rainbow. May the wings of angels speed you home my love. You will live in my heart forever!
When evening falls
Shell run to me
Like whispered dreams
Your eyes cant see
Soft and warm
Shell touch my face
A bed of straw
Against the lace
We believed wed catch the rainbow
Ride the wind to the sun
Sail away on ships of wonder
But lifes not a wheel
With chains made of steel
So bless me
Come the dawn
Come the dawn
