With the move, summer and all I have been slacking on Tal's training. Not that I have neglected it altogether, but I have not been as consistent as I should have. So tonight when we went to play fetch at the park, I started reviewing his commands. And it really seemed like he enjoyed the mental stimulation. Especially when he wanted me to throw the ball sooo badly so he could chase it. He is learning self-control well with that.
Occasionall the ball will go out of his sight. I just let him sniff and find it. He is getting better at that too. I know it has to build his confidence, especially when I praise him for finding his ball. He already thinks the world revolves around him (not that I have challenged that idea!) so I can't let him get tooo cocky!
