Landon is being treated for coccidia and has to wait until after he completes his meds before traveling up here (from Mississippi).
The coccidia was found very early on, and the puppies never showed signs. A routine fecal check at the vet showed the parasite, most likely passed on from the puppy's mother when she was in the kill shelter. I'm so happy Landon's in such good hands now, and they're taking great care of him! His foster mom is fantastic!
The rescue organization may be flying him (with a sister) here late next week. (My neighbors are adopting the sister).
Waiting is the hardest part....
Thanks for the update. We are all awaiting his arrival with you. Can't wait for pictures. Have the camera ready. I hope Gibson will love his new brother
Oh no! I know waiting is so hard, especially since you thought he was coming!
Maybe you can have the foster mom send more pictures in the meantime!
Waiting is a killer! I'm glad he is being treated now though before he comes to you.
Waiting is tough, but it sounds like he is in good hands until you get him.
