    DefaultOphthalmologist Visit for Remington

In the never ending "reaction to Bordatella vaccine" story, my pup will be seeing a board certified ophthalmologist tomorrow. Once again he will have to be sedated. They will be doing another pressure check of his eyes. Also, she will be documenting this for the drug company and hopefully we will be getting some reimbursement (if not, I'm okay with that as I'm not suing... just following the vet's suggestions).

Inside of his eye is still "glowing green" and I'm not happy with it. Had my vet check it and she wasn't happy either so that's why we've been referred to the eye specialist. He may need to go on a systemic steroid for awhile to clear up the inflammation inside the eye.

Worried about the development of glaucoma. God, I hope not.

This has been hard on Remington and me too. One thing for sure.. we have really bonded through all of this. He's my big ole love puppy now.

Hope all goes well and his eye clears up soon. Love the new signature picture. He is turning into one handsome boy.

labby...forgive me for asking...I haven't been on much, so I'm a little lost. This was a reaction from a Bordatella vac? I was thinking it was an ulcer?

Hope the visit goes well and the Opthalmologist can help clear it up. I feel for Remington. But the bonding is one good thing to come of it.
