You know how sometimes a story that someone tells on the forum sticks in your mind? Connie (I'm almost 100% certain it was her) told about one time when she was showing, was about the enter the ring and realized that she still had hotdogs in her mouth (big no no to enter the obedience ring with any food anywhere!). Looking desparately for a place to put the offending food, the steward held out his hand and she dropped the food in it. This really impressed me This weekend I was stewarding at my clubs show, and a fellow club member was showing for her first time. She had entered the ring and the judge said "no gum!". She also looked desparate - what to do with the gum?! I held out my hand and she dropped it in. The spectators went "ohhhhhh" and I whispered "you owe me". ;D ;D
