    DefaultTravel crate??

We're going to the shore next week with the boys and the collapsable crate I usually bring for Frankie has been taken back by the person we borrowed it from. :-\ It was a regular big metal crate, but it folded up. So now I have to buy a new one. Any suggestions on a good travel crate? I was thinking maybe one of those canvas type ones since he's old enough that he won't chew it up. I want something that's easy to store, too, since we'll only be using it twice a year probably. Unless the metal ones are cheaper, than maybe I'll just go for another collapsable metal one.

We did consider not bringing any crate at all, since he is 2-1/2 years old. Then I remembered how my husband was sewing up the ottoman in the room as I was packing to leave last year. ;D

The metal ones are much cheaper. I just spent $89 for one of the canvas ones and that was the cheapest I had found it online.

Big Lots sometimes have the soft crates, but its sporadic. I got tired of waiting which is why I spent more for the ones online.

$89 is cheap! We spent $100+ on the metal we have for him now.

I wouldn't mind spending more on a nice canvas one though. As long as it stores easily.

    Are you at work Amy?

Do a Google on Noztonoz and see what comes up. 36 inches should be enough for the crate. I had Teddie and Jake in a 36 incher last weekend together.

Yea, I'm at work. My company forbids us to go on ebay. LOL

Going to google it now. Thanks Laura!

That is perfect Laura! Exactly what I'm looking for. I love the various entries, too, since we have to put the crate in a weird place in the hotel room. I just emailed my pet store guy to see if he sells anything like that.
    THANKS!

Amy- check Ed's. He has Canine Campers brand canvas crates. The one comparable to a #400 Vari Kennel is about $95. When are you going away? If you want, I have a 206 Midwest crate (suitcase/folding style wire) that you can borrow for the trip.

edited to add: If you want the NoztoNoz one, I think Cherrybrook has them.
