DefaultNot going to the bathroom...when to worry?

    Hi Everyone,

We brought Ellie home from day care last night around 6pm, at which time she ate dinner. She ate her breakfast this morning as well, pretty early this morning (6AM). It is just before 10AM and she still hasn't gone #2 since she's been home. Normally she would have gone twice by now, or once at the very least. Is this something to be worried about, or am I being paranoid?

    Thanks!

She's just really tired, which is normal when she's been in day care the previous day...

No trying to vomit or anything? Like you said, its not normal and I'd be concerned but not panicked at this point. I personally would try and make her go with a match, but that's me. If you don't match her and she still hasn't gone before your vet closes for the day, I'd prolly take her in just to be sure. Especially since its the weekend.

HK generally poops twice a day. If she misses her evening drop, and her morning drop, I take her back out and run her a little. One trip across the lawn usually does it. I learned this from my son's dog Newman. If I run him 100 feet, he poops. I honestly belive if i ran him agian, he would poop again, and on and on and on. Try a little exercie to see if it stimulates a movement.
