About Remington and his eyes. I know you are all so sick of hearing about it but....
Ooo, Ooo, Ooo, Ooo!!!!
I got the steroid drops in just now while he was SLEEPING in his crate. He goes in his crate and sleeps and we just leave the door open. I walked over to see him and he didn't even open his eyes. Went out to feed the horses, came back in, grabbed the eye drops and walked over to the crate again. Dropped a couple big drops of the steroid right in the crack of his eye. He opened his eye and it went right in!
Then, the little bugger ROLLED OVER and closed his eyes again. Lucky me I dropped a couple drops in the other eye and he opened it, in they went.
I'm so relieved to know I actually got it IN his eyes.
We see the vet again on Wednesday. She is going to scope his eyes then to see how they are doing.
SUCCESS!!!! Excellent! *applause*
Well there ya go! Ya gotta get him when he's sleeping! That's how I usually have to clean Frankie's ear.

Not tired of hearing about it at all- Glad you are having success with the medicine- hope Remington is all better real soon!
I'm glad he's recovering so well. And I'm not tired of hearing about his eyes either, that's what we are all here for.

I'm glad you got them in. Now just wear the boy out every couple of hours and repeat.
I remember what a fight I had on my hands when I had to put a steroid cream in my Rottie's eyes. I finally called the vet and begged for drops because at least then I could squirt them in. Trying to lay a bead of cream in the eye of an uncooperative animal the size of a small adult human was just not going to happen.
