before the last set of vaccinations ?
What exactly are the worries? I mean they
live with two older dogs who are always up to
date with their shots, so if they meet other dogs
who are also up to date with vaccs, what would
the problem be ?
It's not the ones who are up to date that you need to worry about, it's the ones who are not.!!

I'd say if you have the 3 of the 4 sets...it's less of a worry at this point...but only bring it around dogs you are familiar with and know their histories.

It depends on who you ask. The vet I know gave a strict line "no going out until after 4th set" to people who the vet felt didn't distinguish well. However, for experienced people/people she trusted, she said "there's a safe/sterile puppy class held at this vet's office, and you know the deal with socialization, etc"
For example, we were at a balloon race with a ton of dogs and a ton of people yesterday. That's an inappropriate place for young puppies. You don't know who has been in contact with what. Plus, it's extremely overwhelming for young puppies.
But neighborhood dogs that you know the owners and you know the vac history- risk is probably minimal like Dani said.
