I'm so so sooooooooo very proud of my girl. I met my cousin, her boyfriend and their chocolate lab Riley for a hike/swim today at a local farm/hiking area. It's a gorgeous place! (next time there will be pictures, I promise)
Anyway...Riley gets a LOT of off leash privileges (that he probably shouldn't but thats a another story), and I usually am very leary of letting Molly off leash in an open area with distractions, but my gut was telling me that it was ok and we've been working really hard on recall. I took her off leash, and she was almost a perfect angel!!! The pups went swimming in a little creek area and each time I would call Molly back to me she would come back and look at me like "yessss, what did you need?" Riley would head off the path and not come, but each time (except once when there was a rabbit involved) she came back!! I don't think I've told her what a good girl she is so many times in 2 hours. Right now she's passed out on the sofa and I'll be able to watch football in peace
GOOD GIRL MOLLY!!!!!
