He is home. He just peed a river. He's miserable and Magnum and Ruger are making fun of his "cone head".

Good news is that there was NOT an ulcer, his eye is just cloudy, most likely due to the inflammation. They checked him out thorough, flushed both eyes and medicated. They also did a pressure reading and it was a tad low, but the vet was not too worried about it. She said this is uvitis and conjuctivitis. Not sure I'm spelling those correctly. Since there is no ulcer they changed the meds to one with a steroid in it to help with the inflammation as he's in pain. Still not sure what caused this. Could have been a sting or bite or (as I'm suspecting) a reaction from the bordatella. The vet tech takes classes from me and she will check him tomorrow evening. And then he goes back in on Monday for a re-check. I hope by then he is feeling better.

Linda, that is almost what Abby's eye looked like when we went to the emergency vet a few weeks ago. They could not find any corneal abrasion or foreign body in the eye or on any of the eyelids. She was diagnosed with conjunctivitis. Almost a week later Molly got it but not quite as bad.
We never knew what caused it, although my thought was swimming in a pond or running in the field for the WC/WCX test. But who knows.
They were fine once they got the meds started.
Poor boy. Give him a big hug from me.

His right eye (which is on the left in the picture) is the worst. He's keeping it mostly shut. That is the one that is cloudy. I'm just praying that it clears up. This is not fun.

Poor Remington. Now you leave those eyes alone so they can heal and you can have fun again.
