    DefaultLoose dog while walking

I was doing our walk this morning and came across a loose dog. I hate stereotyping dogs, but it totally freaked me out that it was an intact male pitbull with a pinch collar on.

Hudler's growling, Grace is pulling to "see the other dog" and it's walking slowly towards us, standing tall, erect, and tail straight up. We keep walking and it's following us. Fortunately, I ran into my nextdoor neighbor's teenage boy, I warned him about the dog, and for some reason the dog decided to run away with the boy going towards him and us in the other direction.

The dog was probably a friendly well loved pet, but what idiot would let their pitbull out, even by accident.

    with a pinch collar on???????

If the dog was friendly the owner is dumb for leaving the pinch collar on if he isn't attached to it.
A dog loose with a pinch collar on does not make me comfortable.
Hershey Kisses, In charge of getting Ed out to the dog park so that he gets some exercise.

Definitely something wrong with this picture. ANY dog loose, especially with no human in sight, makes me uncomfortable. And a Pit Bull running loose, with a pinch collar on does not give me warm fuzzies either.
