My sister's dog, Sam, is going in for some major surgery tomorrow morning at 8:00. He recently developed some bumps in his lymph nodes in his throat. We took him to a soft tissue specialist. The bumps started growing very fast.
They did a core biopsy and it came back inconclusive. They said they are pretty sure it's not cancer, but they don't know what it is. So tomorrow we're taking Sam to have whatever it is removed.
Here's a pic of Sam - he's the cute little guy next to my friend's leg towards the front. I get to babysit him whenever they go out of town! He's a great little guy and very healthy otherwise, so I'm really hoping everything turns out perfectly. So if you could send Sam some good thoughts, I'd really appreciate it!
Please send my thoughts and good wishes for a great outcome!!
Hey! Sam! Hope everything comes out okay. Whatever it is that they plan to take out, you don't need anyway. There will be less baggage for you to carry around.

Prayers going out here for Sam! Please let us know how it goes tomorrow.
Good thoughts for Sam Hopefully it is just a fatty lump
sending good thoughts and prayers for sam!! he's a cutie pie!
Thanks, guys! Unfortunately, it is more than just a fatty lump. His regular vet wanted him to see a specialist, so I'm assuming it's something he didn't even want to attempt!
I'll update you guys tomorrow - We are going about an hour from here and will probably hang out during the surgery, until we know things are okay, so it will probably be later in the day!
Awwww what a sweety....... of course, Sam is in my thoughts and prayers....... praying for his speedy recovery.
He is your friend, your partner, your defender, your dog. You are his life, his love, his leader. He will be yours, faithful and true, to the last beat of his heart. You owe it to him to be worthy of such devotion.
