    DefaultOur first lab, Gunner

I replied in the post by Sam I Am about the amusing story she was told by the vet, with a story about our first lab, Gunner. He was my son's heart dog and we lost him when he was 6 to cancer. I don't believe I have ever posted pictures of him and I don't have any really good ones at hand, but the ones below are from his very last duck hunt.

It is always hard to lose a good friend...and at such a young age. Gunner was a very handsome boy. :'(

So sorry that you lost Gunner so early in his life. :'( Although I'm sure you have many more, these two photos you posted are treasures. I especially like the second one.

too young to lose a friend.

he was a handsome boy. I think the pictures are wonderful. Gunner looks proud in the first one and the second one is extra special.
