    DefaultBJ's vet visit

I took BJ in yesterday because I had gotten a copy of the necropsy report on his brother, Thor (and it was time for his annual visit). I had wanted to take him in last week but the vet had to cancel. The necropsy found that Thor had a "tortorous vena cava that transversed along the lateral right aspect of the right kidney, and then directly over the medial aspect of the kidney into the central abdomen". Thor's vet believes and our vet agrees that this was just a fluke malformation and not something heriditary. Let me tell you this is a load off my mind! BJ did get drops for his eyes because he has a little infection going on, and he also needs to drop some weight - as does his mama.

    I love my vet!

Good to hear that they don't think it's hereditary. I still can't believe that happened to Thor at such a young age
