I was wondering if these bully sticks are any good.
Don't know. They don't give too much information, do they? They don't even tell how many inches they are. Could be the 6" ones?
We get ours from Dr. Foster&Smith (12") and Petsmart (30")
Linda and Zoë, the Umlaut
Yes they don't say very much about them so I not sure if I will order
Unless they're made in the USA, I wouldn't chance it.
I'll ask them that.
I order Doolies from petboutique, they are the cheapest I have found, the only problem is that you have to buy a minimum of 20. I get the 12 " braids. This is the second order I have rec'd and am very satisfied, fast delivery, and much better than what you can get at petsmart, petco etc, for the same price.
could you give us the link to the petboutique?
Do we have anyone that has facts at their disposal on bully sticks.
It is my understanding that they are bull cattle penis, simply dried and cut to length.
The trason for asking my question. Another poster mentioned an inexpensive source and buys the braids 12 inch. I am not intending to be negative to that poster. I bought some of the braided variety from a local shop, and HK went through them much faster than the solid. The next time I went shopping for some, I found that all the braided varieties, including some that had the word Bully in the brand were rawhide and much cheaper per length. The bully sticks (not braided and called blly sticks) did not identify the anatomical source and did not say rawhide.
Hershey Kisses, In charge of getting Ed out to the dog park so that he gets some exercise.
Can't add much but with such limited information I think I would pass. I buy Tal's from Merrick Pet Care. I get the 12" ones.
