    DefaultChasing Tail

Do we have any tail Chasers here?

My 3yr old calls it Pitch Dancing. What he does is he winds himself up in a circle chasing his tail, then he turns the opposite direction. He keeps turning till he catches his tail. There is no irritation, just a game he enjoys doing. Has a hard time catching it when the tail is wagging, Silly Boy!

Princess turned 6 in June and still chases her tail once in awhile.
It looks so funny. She looks like a goof when she does it but it always makes me laugh.

Cooper hasn't done it in a while but he did it a lot when he was still a pup - it was hilarious to watch, most of the time the tip of his tail was in his mouth, all he had to do was clamp down! I think it's cute when they do that.

Both of my labs did this. I used to say "Only crazy dogs chase their tails." ;D They only did it for a short while & they both did it around the same age, around 18 months to 2 years old. It was funny to watch.

Haha! Flynn does this all the time (he's 5 years old).
Only if he knows we are watching, though. He's a real showoff.

Riley is a tail chaser too! He's 3 yrs old. The kids get such a kick out of it, but they've learned to stay out of the way of the 95 pound lab going crazy chasing his tail ;D

Duke has never chased his tail, but he can sure do an awesome butt-tuck. He'll be 4 in November.

If Theo is really excited when we first come home, he'll paw and snort and wiggle and turn himself into a "U." When he does, sometimes he catches sight of his tail and around and around he goes! Sometimes I hold for him to help him get it. I like to believe he appreciates the assistance.

Tal really doesn't chase his tail much actually. On a rare occasion he will and it is a hoot to watch!
