Defaulthmm, i'am a: "candidate dog trainer"

Yesterday, i've also started at the local "animal shelter" as a "candidate dog trainer".

I'am just a candidate because the real training starts at 2 september, and after following that training i'am a full dog trainer 8)

Ohw, the training they give are just the obedience courses to pups, young dogs (age +/- 1 year old) and to the older dogs ;D

There are no 'dog sports' involved because they dont believe in that stuff :-X

Congratulations !! I think you MUST be a good trainer, because Laika seems to be VERY well trained !! A question, WHY don't they believe in dog sports ??

He is your friend, your partner, your defender, your dog. You are his life, his love, his leader. He will be yours, faithful and true, to the last beat of his heart. You owe it to him to be worthy of such devotion.

You will be a fantastic trainer. Nobody understands dogs the way you do.

Congratulations! Let us know when you start your first class. I assume that photos of the dogs in training are a bonus for signing up with you. I think DW may object to weekly trips oversees for me and HK, but she will get over it. <NOT>

Because the have made the conclusion that it is more for the dog(s) owner(s) ego, then that dog has gain of it (and mostly of the time they are correct about it, but you must then think about agillity, flyball and stuff like that, they are positive about following a hunting course with you're dog) ...

Just let the dog's be dog's, and let them do what they do the best ... simple, a german shepperd in a hunting course wouldnt work, even as a labrador works as a K9 police dog .. if you get what i mean, and for ther rest just direct them in the correct way with a bunche of enthousiasme and the rest will follow (truely it works! ;D )
