Last month when I applied his Frontline he was a perfect gentleman. I thought ok, I guess it must have caught it just right. I figured when it came to this months application I'det some resistance.
Today it was time for his August application and lo and behold he just sat there until I finished. I gave him a couple of freeze dried liver cubes as a reward.
Well, I named him after an angel character I read about so I guess he is just living up to his name!
Special treats seem to make these things go much better. Tal is a good boy & it is obvious he trusts you & doesn't take it as anything threatening.
I hadn't thought of that actually. I have tried really hard not to let him down. He knows when I leave, I come back and I am always here for him. I know sometimes I will go to another room and notice he isn't following me. I see him and he is looking at me like is it ok?? I always motion for him to come on. He also knows I like to spend time together!Originally Posted by georgie
Man, that's good! Tal sounds like such a gentleman.
It is absolutely ridiculous, the scene Angus makes about the Advantix every month. He is terrified of it!

I hear ya..I know it was a real chore at one time putting it on Tal. I'm not really sure what changed because I really didn't make a special effort to "train" him to be nice when I put it on.Originally Posted by AngusFangus
