I was closing the sliding glass door and Brigetta was standing next to me and I shut her nose in it I feel HORRIBLE. It scraped a layer of skin off of her nose and was bleeding. Of course she's acting like nothing happened now. I keep trying to look at the rest of her nose and muzzle to make sure nothing else was hurt.
I cleaned her nose with a wet towel. She keeps licking it. Should I put anything on it?

What about a band-aid Bandage. Momma says keep it covered to make it all better faster.
No really, a little neosporin and a kiss should make it all better
How cruel. Perhaps a kiss on the nose would help.
Oh, I know how awful that makes you feel when you do something like that! Everyone has had little accidents like this, though. Bad as you feel, it wasn't your fault. She will be OK.

I hear ya...She'll be fine. Stuff like that makes ya feel bad but I'm sure she's ok. Like Momoflab said a little Neosporin and she'll be good as new!
I am sure she will appreciate a kiss to make it better.
Don't feel bad. We all have accidents.
A big kiss'll help her....and you'll feel better too.
awww poor baby. maybe a peanut butter kong will help her forget her pain?
Awww...poor baby..lotsa kisses and hugs. I can't count how many times we almost closed the door on Dakota's tail..almost. I did step on his paw the other day..and he yelped and I felt so darn guilty. Accidents will happen..and I think our pups know when it IS just an accident not some kind of abuse.
Just give her lots of affection and maybe a few extra biscuits??? LOL
Polysporin to her nose, peanut butter Kong with a few cookies thrown in for good measure, extra huggs and kisses and she will be fine. It hurts us more when something like that happens than it does them. They just blow it off 2 seconds later and we think about it for days
