I was leaving and saw two ladies, a mom and daughter, and the daughter had a little Lab puppy. He was black with a whit spot on his chest and so reminded me of Tal. She said they got him from a friend who had a Lab who had puppies (I didn't ask but you know what I was thinking). You could tell tho the lady cared for the little puppy.
I told her I had one who just turned a year old and that they are the best dogs! She asked me about caring for him so I gave her a few tips about crate, potty, and all. She really seemed to appreciate the help. Dumb me was so tired I clean forgot to mention JL...sorry. Somehow, though, I think the little fellow will have a good life.
Well, they seemed open to ideas for doing whatever it took to give the little one a good home. He reminded me of Tal when he was that little. I think the little pupster probably smelled Tal on me because he wanted to sniff my hand and gave me a couple of licks...
"WalMart" and "Lab puppy" brings back a bad memory of when Judy was a puppy. She backed out of her harness in the car and bolted in the Wal Mart parking lot when I opened the car door. I ran through the parking lot after her. Some nice people grabbed her and held her for me. No more car rides until she learned "stay".
