So I took Storm for a walk on a new trail last night. The trail crossed through several neighborhoods and as Storm and I were crossing the street to get back onto the trail I noticed a cute chocolate lab in the front yard of one of the homes. I noticed the dog was not leashed and I couldn't see the owner. As soon as the dog caught sight of Storm she came running full speed across a busy street with a car coming. Luckily she ran right at us and I grabbed her collar - a few minutes later the owner came running from the garage on the other side of the house yelling for his dog. He came up and thanked me for getting her and said "thanks so much - she's already been hit by a car once recently". At this point I noticed that the poor girl had a huge patch of skin missing on her side and stiches. WTF??!! If she's been hit why do you have her off leash in your front yard??!!! What the hell is wrong with people!!
I asked him as much and he just turned around and walked back to his yard.
Honestly - some people do not deserve to have pets!
Some people have NO SENSE and shouldn't be allowed to own pets. >
I agree, that asshat is too stupid to own a dog. >
Jackie, Champ, and Buddy
ok..lemme get this straight..his dog had already been hit by a car once and he was allowing it to run off leashunattended in his front yard on a busy street?? Dumba$$.
What an idiot... Like I said .. These fools never cease to amaze me...
Pets or kids, unfortunately he probably has both! My head is starting to hurt from hitting into the wall out of frustration!!
Some people are not to bright....well if you ever see the dog out again and the owner not insight...you know what you need to do..I would say a rescue would be in order....
Can we say MORON? Grrr. >
Take the dog and ask for a reward - (and then not give it back anyway) oh wait, the guy is stupid and wouldn't pay probably. I would still take the dog.
Wait a minute...do you live in Tallahassee? There's an idoit on my block who's dog almost got hit by a school bus in the same type of situation. Fools.
