Hoss earned his RE title today, in the second of a three day cluster show here in Battle Creek. Belle earned her 5th RAE leg and Kodi her 3rd RAE leg. None of their scores have been impressive (85-95 in the ten times we have been in the ring so far this weekend...moslty handler errors and Hoss feeling his 'oats' yesterday and bouncing around me at about eye level. One handler today was excused mid-course because her dog got about 10 feet ahead of her after a jump, and she told him to sit until she caught up to him (he did)....judge said the dog was out of control! MUCH stricter judging than I have ever seen before). Hoss has qualified all of his Rally legs with placements....hehehehe...sometimes only because much of the rest of his class NQ'd!
Back at it tomorrow, an insurance leg on Hoss and hopefully another RAE leg for both Kodi and Belle! I don't know who is more tired, me or the dogs (I can never sit at a show, I always pace around too much). I did however pick up two nice leather collars, leather leash and lots of yummy knuckle bones!
Hey congratulations! That's awesome!Yikes!! Name of judge to avoid? One handler today was excused mid-course because her dog got about 10 feet ahead of her after a jump, and she told him to sit until she caught up to him (he did)....judge said the dog was out of control!
Sounds like an exhausting, but really fun day! Isn't dog show shopping the best? We have one next weekend with Mr. Simon.

Whoo Whoo!!! Congrats you guys - way to go! I'm planning on entering Emilu in her first Rally Excellent this fall - we can do all the stuff, but I wanted some time to quit patting my leg, and for her off-leash heeling to improve (she lags).
