You know Crockett is a little over 2 years old, it seems like I just woke up and he was the best dog a person could ask for... it is so strange because it seems like yesterday he was crazy boy! I used to think I could never keep up with all that puppy energy and craziness, but I would not trade one day of it... I also used to think ppl were crazy when they said at 2 years old you will see something really special happen, I used to laugh, but it was so true. Boy, do I love this Dog! Anyone else like this?
I've noticed things like this too. All of a sudden one day, there is a definitive change in one of the dogs.
Blackie and Ranger ...............................Reggie: 1996-2010 "Fly Reggie Fly"
Same with Kallie..she still likes to cause a little trouble every now and then..but at 2 1/2 she is the lab I always knew I wanted!!! Isn't it amazing how one day they just "wake up" and they are different dogs!!!!
I'm still waiting...... ;D
I love Crockett's siggy pic, BTW. Good boy, Crockett.
You sound like me about a year ago! It will happen, I promiseOriginally Posted by wiscpayton
I know what you mean, Lola turned 2 July 7th. She was pretty good before, but now it's different. There is something different in her eyes. I can't be more happy with the dog she's become.

I know what you mean. Scout is 3 now. She knows the drill around here - the routine, what to expect, what's expected of her. We communicate so well, she's my buddy.
The ONLY downside to it is .... now that you're no longer a puppy and you've matured and settled into life here and you're the best dog a person could ask for, please age slowly Scout. And stay healthy.
