This is Boomer when he met his cousin (my husband's brother's dog).
Homer is a Lab/Chessie mix. He is not afraid of anything and kept biting at Boomer's pee-pee...at which point Boomer would hide under a table for a tiny bit and then come back out, only to repeat the process. :-[ I can definitely tell, in the last year or so, Boomer has become "the older dog". He was always the one that was being annoying...now he is the annoyed.
They did love playing tug-of-war with Homer's stuffed duck. Boomer pretty much just stood there and held it while Homer pulled and pulled. Every few seconds, Boomer would give it a really hard, quick tug and Homer would go flying. They had fun.
Awww, Janna. Five years is about right... progressing from the "annoyer" to the "annoyed".

That duck is in serious trouble! Great picture.

aww, how cute!this so perfectly describes the progression i've seen in theo the past few months, esp with the addition of a little brother/little chit earlier this year.I can definitely tell, in the last year or so, Boomer has become "the older dog". He was always the one that was being annoying...now he is the annoyed
Cute picture! Homer is adorable! I love Boomer's collar ;D
