Gage is ready for adoption...
Gage is our very special boy.
If you recall, last August (2006), he was allowed to run and roam by his previous owners. Well, he was hit by a car and was left until the next day where his owner finally brought him into Animal Health Associates to be looked at. After it was determined that he had shattered his left back leg, When the vet staff told the owner how much it would cost to fix his leg, he asked for him to be euthanized. The vet staff at AHA could not see this happen to this wonderful dog. So they called us and asked if we would help. We jumped at the chance. The owner agreed to surrender Gage to us and that was when Gage's life would change.
It's been nearly a year of healing, two surgeries and rehab, but Gage is finally ready to give love to someone of his own. He is so gentle, loving and loves all of the attention that people give him.
This boy needs a nice couch to lay on. Will it be yours? Contact us now to adopt Gage. He's approximately 2.5 years old and around 65-70 lbs.
We did an auction late last year to help offset the costs of his care...we don't know how much because our vet refuses to let us know the actual cost of his care.
We'd like to again thank everyone who participated in the auction, and especially Karen (azlab) for her donations toward his care. Now, we just need to get this boy his forever home.
