We found 5 at a animal shelter here in our town. You can read about it in the Lab Rescue Forum under SouthEast region. We would be willing to help with transport.
They honestly look full blooded for anyone wondering. My husband did post some pictures.
Where are they located..I"m in the Wilmington NC area.
Jackie - they are in Little Washington... about 3 hours from you...
We are 30 minutes outside of Greenville.
We would be happy to assist with transportation if needed.
Your dog is beautiful!!!
Well...I just asked the not so DH and he said only when Kelly (our other dog is gone). I'll ask him again..damn damn damn. Give me some time..we'd want a male if possible..ok..I'd want a male..I have to work on the not so DH. >
P.S. Thank you for Dakota's compliment..duh!! I almost forgot..I got so excited.Originally Posted by Zakks_Mommy
HAHAH I'm in the same boat... I love mine to death, but I'm not sure about 2 in the house..... this is my first house dog and DAMN THERE IS A LOT OF HAIR EVERYWHERE... windows, counters, furniture, CLOTHES and it drives me nuts!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Playtime Time x2
Man it just seems hard.
Yeah..having two already..and Kelly really sheds badly..clumps of undercoat..she's akita-shepherd mix..and besides that..he just feels 3 dogs at this point would be too much. Dakota is only 7 months old..although..I would like to have another one for him to play with (and for me too, cuz he is so darn cute)..Kelly is 14 and is not interested in playing..she's old and tired.
I'm sorry Allyson..I shouldn't have jumped so soon..I knew he'd say no..but..one can only hope.
I sure hope some people do take them...and give them good homes..

Thanks, I emailed Jenny.
A friend of ours has a yellow lab that bred with a lab mix (chow and lab) and they have 8 puppies... we went over and played with them last night... of course they are look very much like full labs - except 2 have a little bit curlier/fuller fur. So incase any of you would be interested in those - they are free. Most are females but there are some males. They have 1 chocolate and they want to keep him, but they have a lot of yellows and blacks.
Here we go again!! LOL...Originally Posted by claire
