DefaultHow about a little good news 4:00pm UPDATE

Houston, we have ignition. The rocket has left the pad!

If you want to follow Rocket on his ride from New Orleans to Houston, and then on to me in Pennsylvania, you can go to this website.

    http://cargo.cocargo.com/cargo/

When it asks for a tracking number, enter 55890730

See you in a few hours Rocket!

In about two hours, the Rocket Man will be airborn and headed from New Orleans LA. to his new home in Pittsburgh PA. Kim set up the flight for him and I will be picking him up at the airport around 11pm (I didn't know flights came in that late!) I was going to drive to LA. to pick him up, but the flight ends up being about the same cost. I have several families approved and just waiting for him to get here. One wants his to train as a certified therapy dog, and I am thinking that may be his best option. Ant of the other families are a great choice as well though. If I can find a minute later today, I will post the tracking info for anyone who wants to follow his flight.

    THANKS KIM!

Then, tomorrow with the help of Kathy and a great NY transport person from this forum named Tim, Sir William will be going to his forever home in Johnstown PA. His new mom, Karen is so excited she is emailing me about every 15 minutes to see if there are any special toys or food or ANYTHING he needs. It is funny, she is SO EXCITED. I will pick William up from Tim in Corning NY tomorrow around noon and he will be home by 5 or 6pm

    THANKS KATHY!

That is two dogs who never would have made it out of the shelter if these wonderful ladies had not been there for them. You two are the BEST!!!

Hey Joe, I'll be at the Pgh airport tonight too. My son and granddaughter are flying in from Idaho on United at 11:34. Maybe we'll run into one another?

    Joe, this gave me chills.

They are both lovely. But especially that William. Oh my gosh. One day I will have an old Golden with a beautiful white face. So sweet. Oh, it makes me tear up!

Bless you again for all you do Joe.

    Joe,

That is good news. They are both cute but I admit I'm partial to Rocket Man.
